The franchise concept
In a franchise system the franchisor "rents" his business idea, brand name, know-how and marketing to the franchisee. The attractive business model of Cleanskin is well established at the market and represented by about 50 Cleanskin Stores.
The advantages of franchising:
- franchisees use a name that is already known as a brand
- you don't have to reinvent the wheel, but can profit from tested concepts and ideas.
- the dividends of franchisees are a lot smaller than those of entrepreneurs that do not start off in a franchise system. In the free market an average of 7 out of 10 entrepreneurs fail. Concerning franchisees the quota of failures lies by 8 percent in the first year and the quota sinks dramatically after the first year.
- a franchise concept only works with the motto, "Together we are strong". For mutual success the franchisor provides many building blocks of entrepreneurship for the franchisee: national marketing, uniform affordable training, a definition for uniform standards, business assessment comparisons, meetings and a lot of exchange of experiences.
How does Cleanskin define a franchise?
We want to give our partners the maximum of entrepreneurial freedom, while offering our guests the same quality standards in all stores. Therefore we attach importance to a uniform presentation and operation method.
Ultimately, the brand recognition is of great importance for our partners' success, as well.
A uniform appearance is of importance for us and therefore we provide the following:
- the store's interior design
- the technology and operation method
- the store's positioning
- the service and hygiene standards (Cleanskin codex)
- the training standard of the franchise partners and employees
national campaigns - CI conform marketing materials
The frame is set and is there for our partners' orientation. Within these standards our partners can freely operate and bring in their personal experience and inspirations. After all, our partners are responsible for the success of their store even if receiving a lot of support by the Cleanskin head office.
