How are tattoos removed with the Cleanskin laser?

In order to remove tattoos a special laser, in form of a wand, is held right over the tattoo and light impulses are given off onto the skin. This light impulse goes through the skin and is absorbed by the pigments, turned into heat and causes a systematic degradation of the tattoo. The pigments are washed out through the lymphatic system and the tattoo gets lighter and lighter with each treatment. 

The Cleanskin YAQ laser can be used to remove both colorful and black tattoos through either wavelengths of 1064 and 532 nm. It can also remove colors that are usually a lot more difficult to remove, such as, red pigments. The laser’s light finds the pigments of the tattoo and breaks them into the smallest pigments possible, transporting them through the tissue cells; this modern laser technology ensures safety and comfort.
